Nestled in the delightful Durham Dales, our gorgeous shepherd’s hut provides everything you could want for a very cosy stay. Located down a leafy lane with uninterrupted views of woodland and fields, you’ll be staying in an area renowned for its natural beauty. Within this tranquil and relaxing environment, rarely encountered in the hustle & bustle of our hectic modern way of life, there is an abundance of wildlife including deer, buzzards, badgers, barn owls and a multitude of bird species.

Sycamore shepherd’s hut is a bespoke hut with stylish oak interior and a comfy double bed.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, microwave, small fridge & Belfast sink. All kitchen equipment is provided for your stay including pots & pans, crockery, cutlery, cafetiere, tea pot & glasses. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt & pepper.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet & wash basin and we also provide shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. There is plenty under bed storage for stowing away your clothes & luggage. Extra pillows & blankets are provided to make your stay extra warm and cosy! On chilly nights take advantage of the wood burning stove (logs provided), and if you need an extra heat boost, there’s a radiator too.

Outside there is a lovely patio area with wooden Jack & Jill seating and a chiminea. With views over open countryside it’s a beautiful space to relax, unwind and observe the plethora of wildlife around you. Although wi-fi is not available, there is generally a good 4G signal.
