The Weardale Retreat is a luxury shepherd’s hut with hot tub located on a working hill farm with picturesque views across Weardale in the Durham dales. Inside, the hut has been well organised and offers a comfortable double bed, seating area, wood-burning stove, plus a well fitted kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster! A modern shower room completes the interior. The decor is quirky in styling with touches of purple that match the stunning view of the local countryside with its picturesque heather.
Outside the hut you can relax in the warmth of the bubbling wood burning hot tub whilst taking in the beautiful views around you, with no light pollution. A firepit is the perfect place to enjoy toasting marshmallows whilst taking in the starry night sky. The hut has wifi for when you need to dip back to reality and complimentary electric vehicle charging is available for those who need it. We have five classic cars here at the farm and undercover parking for your car too, if it is required please let us know.
